 “Discounted Ride for All “ application, which was one of the election promises of İzmir Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer and started shortly after his inauguration, relaxed the transportation budget of izmir residents. 
  “Discounted Rİde for All “  application, which was an important part of the election promises of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Tunç Soyer started immediately after his appointment, has passed 2.5 years. The application, which provides a 50 percent discount on public transport usage between 05.00-07.00 in the morning and 19.00-20.00 hours in the evening, has contributed significantly to the budget of izmir residents. Since its launch in May 2019, 95 million 960 thousand 120 rides have been made to all public transportation vehicles. The application costs  approximately 134 TL per month for full card holders during this period of difficult living conditions; for passengers who have student cards, it has saved about 50 TL.
 
88 million tl contribution in 2.5 years
Eser Atak, Deputy Secretary General of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, who gave information about   “Discounted Ride for All “ , said, "Our aim in this application is to contribute to the budgets of our citizens who have to start their work in the early hours. Transportation spending in major cities is a big amount, especially for those with low incomes.We contribute 134 TL per month to a citizen who uses public transportation twice a day and 50 TL to students. With this application, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality ensured that a contribution of TL 88 million in 2.5 years remained in the pockets of our citizens."
 
Our transportation fares have halved
İzmir residents who benefit from the application in the morning and evening hours are satisfied with   “Discounted Rİde for All “  application. "We use buses often. We are happy with the application. It's nice to have such an app at the time everyone goes to work," he said. At least our monthly transportation fares have halved; we are pleased." Student said: "I come to Konak from Bayraklı every morning. The app is also affordable for good students. We spend a lot of time on roads. It's good for us and it's good for everyone."
